Chubs Rates His Favorite Snacks (And One He’d Like to Report)

Today, we’re talking about something near and dear to my heart—snacks.

Now, I’m not saying I’m a food expert, but let’s be honest: I’ve sampled a wide variety of hooman-approved treats over the years. Some of them? Chef’s kiss. Others? Questionable at best. So I thought I’d do all you fellow snack-lovers a favor and share my official snack ratings, straight from the tastebuds of yours truly.

Let’s begin:

🥕 Carrots – 10/10
Classic. Crunchy. Delicious. Always the right choice. You show up with a carrot, and we’re instant best friends. Period.

🍓 Strawberries – 9/10
Sweet, juicy, and they make my nose all sticky in the best way. The only reason they lose a point? Sometimes they’re too small. Bring more next time.

🥦 Broccoli – 9/10
Surprisingly tasty. A bit crunchy, a bit weird-looking, but I like weird. Also, it makes me feel like a health-conscious horse.

🍈 Honeydew – 10/10
It’s sweet and soft, and I like it fine… but only if carrots aren’t an option. This is more of a “dessert after hay” kind of snack.

🌽 Corn Cobs – 9/10
Oh, yes. Give me the whole cob. I’ll spin it, nibble it, and make a happy mess. A snack and a challenge. Highly recommended.

🥬 Lettuce – 9/10
Light, crunchy, and refreshing on a hot day. Doesn’t fill you up, but it’s a good snacking warm-up before something better comes along.

And now… the betrayal.

🍉 Watermelon – 1/10
Look. I know some horses love this stuff. But not me. It’s watery. It’s weird. The texture is suspicious. I’ve tried it multiple times, and every time I walk away like, “Why?” My little girl says I’m missing out, but I think she’s the one who needs tastebud training.

So there you have it—Chubs’ Official Snack Rankings. Feel free to leave a pile of carrots outside my stall if you agree. Or, if you show up with watermelon… well, I hope you brought backup.

Until next time, snack wisely and often.
